Emergencies
that require the evacuation of a workplace can occur at
any time. But often employees are not prepared to respond
appropriately. For example, workplace fires and explosions
kill 200 workers and injure more than 5,000 workers each
year, at a cost of $2.3 billion annually. Sometimes exit
routes are unmarked, blocked, or poorly lit.
This
training is designed for plant managers, supervisors, and
for other employees designated as emergency evacuation coordinators
who need to understand the process for preparing a facility
for the safe evacuation of employees. When the training
