Life Safety Concepts (LSC) is a hazardous materials, safety and environmental training company led by knowledgeable, professional and highly-motivated instructors with over 30 years combined experience. The foundation of LSC is the first-rate, world-class level of knowledge possessed by its instructors that defines the company’s future, one class at a time.

Founded in 2005 by Floridians Jason C. Berlin and John E. Bailey III, LSC’s mission is two-fold: to equip clients with informative training in an engaging classroom setting and to provide on-site inspections to ensure that your company complies with all standards and regulations mandated by government agencies.

LSC offers affordable, flexible services of the highest quality- - our inspections are thorough, and our training is in-depth. We will customize classes to suit your company’s specific needs in order to maximize the benefit to your employees and we are willing to travel nationally and globally to bring this knowledge to your door.

LSC founders Jason and John embody considerable expertise in the various aspects of emergency services due to their careers in both the civilian sector and the United States Air Force that has afforded them the opportunity to build a broad level of experience from all reaches of the world.

Jason has more than 17 years of experience in the emergency services field, including ten years in the United States Air Force and seven in the civilian sector during which he has held a variety of positions from Firefighter, Fire Inspector to Assistant Fire Chief.

Jason’s professional certifications through the Department of Defense (DOD, The International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) include:

John has 14 years of experience in emergency response and environmental health and safety, including eight distinguished years of active duty service with the United States Air Force in the field of fire protection and six in the civilian sector during which he held a variety of positions from Firefighter, Fire Inspector and Assistant Fire Chief.
